Producer / Recording engineer / Mixer / Mastering engineer

Pete deBoer

Making a great record is about more than getting great sounds. It’s about understanding what makes the music work, recognizing what a performance needs, and knowing when to push for something better.

Pete brings more than 25 years of professional recording experience to that process. His background includes a decade working alongside producer and mixer Ron Saint Germain, extensive work in commercial recording studios, and years producing independent artists at World Famous Studios and facilities across the country.

He’s equally comfortable capturing a band playing together, building a recording through overdubs, or finding the right balance between the two. His approach isn’t tied to a particular piece of equipment or recording technique. The choices come from the music, the people making it, and what the finished record needs to accomplish.

Pete sees production as a collaboration. Sometimes that means offering a fresh perspective on an arrangement, encouraging another performance, or finding a different way to approach a song. Other times, it means recognizing that something already works and leaving it alone.

The goal is to find what makes their music special and work together to create a record that captures something meaningful, powerful, and lasting.
